Nevada Humanities Project Grants open

Nevada Humanities Project Grants are open. Awards of up to $7,500 are intended for Nevada nonprofit organizations, state and local government, and tribal entities to fund projects that “enhance national or international understanding of Nevada issues, culture, and heritage.” Applications are due Sept. 1. Studio space available in Reno

Makers Paradise, located in the Reno Public Market, now has studio space open to rent. A 9×9-foot studio costs $225/mo, and a 10×9-foot studio costs $250/mo. Deposits are not required. Artist opportunities with upcoming deadlines

Creative Capital’s list of opportunities for artists with August and September is now out. The list includes a $10,000 professional development fellowship, juried exhibitions, and several national residences, and the Antarctic Artists & Writers program. Info here.
