Transfix closes ahead of schedule
Transfix, the ambitious, high-tech immersive art installation outside of Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip, closed on June 2 citing a failure to sell enough tickets to cover its costs. Employees were terminated via email with a few hours notice. Organizers have not posted a public statement about refunds for ticket holders, but at least two social media users have reported receiving letters stating that refunds will be issued. The installation was initially slated to be open through fall.
