“University of Nevada, Reno Art Professor Bob Morrison passed away in his home on Dec. 16. Funeral services are scheduled for today at 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 501 California Ave. Family members have requested donations to the Churchill Arts Council Foundation Scholarship Fund or the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Endowment Fund, rather than flowers.

UNR’s art department is planning an additional gathering to celebrate Morrison’s life. Organizers plan to post details on the Sheppard Contemporary and University Galleries Instagram page once they’re confirmed.

UNR’s Special Collections archive contains a few photos likely to spark some fond memories.
