Art Exhibition by the Northern Nevada Wander Society

Gallery East in the McKinley Arts & Culture Center is proud to host the Northern Nevada Wander Society in their exhibition “Multifarious.” The Northern Nevada Wander Society is an intergenerational group of retired and current arts educators from Northern Nevada inspired by Keri Smith’s book, “The Wander Society.” They are passionate about arts education and arts accessibility for all. Each month they meet at one of their members’ homes for a potluck, a book discussion, and “wander” around our neighborhoods. During their wanderings, they look for joy and inspiration in the “aimless ambulating” that is open-minded and open-hearted. This exhibition showcases the work inspired by their time and wanderings together.

The exhibition will run from February 20 to April 7, 2023 in McKinley Arts and Culture Center, Gallery East.
