Joanna Drakos will be exhibiting her latest series of abstract paintings in the show Artifacts of Introspection at Sierra Arts Foundation Riverside Gallery. Her year-long project comprises highly person works that journey through an imaginary realm of abstract landscapes.

An artist reception is scheduled for September 23, 2023 from 12 noon to 4 pm. The show is free and open to the public during normal gallery hours, Tuesday-Friday, 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday, 12 noon to 4 pm.

This project is partially funded through a grant from The Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Joanna Drakos is a visual artist who lives and works in Reno, Nevada. Primarily painting abstract works, she is a two-time recipient of project grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Joanna is the co-founder of Downtown Modernists, a Northern Nevada artist group comprised of artist working in Modernist styles.
