Reno Tahoe International Art Show
The RTIA Show is the destination art fair of the West with a foundational vision of lifting Reno Tahoe as a nationally recognized center for arts and culture. Founded by Reno-based father daughter duo Kevin O’Keefe and Briana Dolan, the show ran for the first time September 8-11, 2022 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, presenting interior designers, architects, consultants and collectors with a wide array of new and better fine arts and furnishings at prices untouched by a pressured market. The inaugural event exceeded all expectations, propelling itself into a nearly double showcase for 2023.
The RTIA Show is unique to the region, presenting local talent alongside independent artists, national and international galleries and special features such as the First Nations, Indigenous Peoples Pavilion and Short Film Programming curated by Reno Tahoe’s Cordillera International Film Festival. Also unique to the area is the RTIA Show’s ‘After Burn Market’ presenting large scale sculpture from Black Rock Desert’s Burning Man, which takes place just hours outside of Reno in the weeks ahead of the show. The sculpture presentation extends through the RTIA Show Sculpture Walk, featuring world class sculptural works created by artists from around the world. Art and design enthusiasts enjoy RTIA Show’s lively, sophisticated exhibition filled with beautiful art and creative design, set off by live music performances, on-floor Talks and ongoing hospitalities.
The inaugural RTIA Show anchored a city-to-lakeside celebration of art and design, which included 20+ live music performances at 3 venues, a regional awards program with a gala reception held at the Nevada Museum of Art, featured events and exhibits held across the regional along with special programming at key restaurants, breweries and better retailers in Reno Tahoe.
The 2013 Reno Tahoe International Art Show takes place Sept. 14-17 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
