Monica Milldrum began making art in Reno. In 2019, she moved to Elko, and her new locale suits her well. “The community is tight,” she said. “You can really get to know people and have a friendly relationship with them.” This year, Monica is the coordinator of the Elko County Art Club’s Art in the Park event.

Art in the Park is this weekend, July 10-11 at Elko’s Main City Park, behind the Northeastern Nevada Museum. It features local artists and vendors from all over the West. More event info here.
